My objective is to be there to assist you in navigating your thoughts, goals and any obstacles you are facing in order to help you become the most confident, efficient and powerful version of yourself in both your personal and professional life. The goal is to start movement in your life now; to help you begin doing things instead of just thinking about them. I have a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, followed by a diploma in Recreation Therapy and a certificate as a Life and Executive Coach.
The story behind the phoenix is that we are all striving for something. We have to let go of our past selves and restrictions to be able to be reborn and rise up as the self we want to be. Like the phoenix, we need to transform, persevere, and find our strength.
I am a mental resiliency coach and have assisted clients in stepping into unshakeable confidence, rewrite negative beliefs, create a plan for when anxieties and doubts creep in, be the strongest and best prepared for world championships.
I too, have fought my own battles and excuses to get results through a combination of hard work, determination, and trial-and-error. I have gone through many situations that have helped transform me into a better listener and a stronger person. My experiences come from battling through the worst of my depression and coming into a life I look forward to. It has come from relationship struggles, fitness successes and the determination and results I gained in the process. Going from laziness to fighting through and achieving the best accomplishments of my fitness journey so far. I have lived through grief, injury, taking personal and professional risks with no idea of the outcomes and coming out victorious on the other side.
Becoming a mother has taught me how to shift quickly, seek support, shift my mindset to get done what I need to do, and to find the strength to not be okay and release emotions so that they don't control me, but I control them. Motherhood has been my biggest lesson of resiliency and persistence and has made me a stronger coach.
I have come out of life with an increased sense of empathy and a deep passion for knowledge and understanding. This is what I will bring to every session alongside a judgement free space.
As a certified and experienced coach, I have the tactics and experience to help my clients dig deep and come to simplistic realizations that will create unstoppable confidence and a powerful relationship with themselves. With a decade of coaching experience, I have helped hundreds of individuals get out of their own way and be the greatness they were born to be.
I am continually up-levelling and doing the work myself.
I love weird and quirky things. I am a ball of energy, and surprise people when I say I don't drink coffee. Tea and I will forever have a monogamous relationship. I enjoy cozy days in with onesies and cuddling with my baby. I am a published author, and the process has been one of the most impactful experiences of my life. I continue to challenge myself with half-marathons, 100+ km cycling events, and kickboxing. I absolutely love baking, crafts, dancing, and connecting with my inner child (see: blanket forts, playing in the snow, movie nights and puzzles). I love to travel and have seen some amazing places that I dream of visiting again.
I pride myself in finding or making dairy free substitutions for dairy-filled dishes that I love. Needless to say, I adore animal videos, baby videos, and of course baby animal videos.
In a perfect world I would wake up, workout, make breakfast and a cup of tea. Then catch up on emails and messages, have calls with clients, and enjoy the evening with my partner, a book, or something else that fills me up.
